Title: Junior Content Assistant

Location: Working from an London office. 4 days in the office.
Reports directly to the CEO and my Executive Assistant.
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £28,000 per annum, reviewed at six months and annually thereafter, with the opportunity for progression as your skills and responsibilities grow.
Start date: ASAP, but flexible to notice periods
About the role:
We are looking for an organised, meticulous and creative Junior Content Assistant to support Mia McGrath’s growing personal brand. You will be responsible for end-to-end content creation of both Mia McGrath and Frugal Chic related media. This is a great first or second role for someone who loves writing, content creation and personal finance. You’ll benefit from working closely with Mia in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
Draft content in Mia’s style being fast and reactive to news and timely events and also evergreen content.
Proofread posts and videos checking for mathematical and grammatical accuracy.
Schedule and post content from channels such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Linkedin.
Draft and edit blog posts, social media posts, website copy.
Maintain a content calendar inline with major finance events, Mia’s speaking events and podcast filming.
Research competitors, audience interests and forums to generate content ideas
Use tools such as Canva to prepare graphics and carousels for social posts
Liaise with freelance editors to prepare content for approval, both organic and paid partnerships
Track analytics and generate monthly content performance reviews
Respond to comments and DMs where my own voice isn’t required
Support the team with adhoc tasks
Essential requirements:
Excellent in written English, with an understanding of storytelling
Ability to adapt tone and style to suit different platforms: a basic understanding of how short-form platforms differ from long-form
Good time management and the ability to multitask
A strong understanding of social media platforms from a professional perspective
A willingness to take on feedback and learn quickly
Proactive and solutions focused
Desirable (not required):
A degree or coursework in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or similar, or equivalent experience
Experience with a CMS (WordPress, Webflow, etc.), Canva, or basic SEO tools
A portfolio, blog, or examples of writing (personal projects count)
Familiarity with Google Analytics or social analytics dashboards
A degree in a finance or strong interest in personal finance
Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut or Final Cut Pro
